About Our Hobart Nursery

We are a large retail nursery covering over 4000 sq/m. 

With constantly changing stock you'll be amazed at what you'll find at Chandlers Nursery. We have a large range of seed, seedlings, seasonal herbs, edible fruits (citrus, berries and stone-fruit), indoor plants, cottage plants, Australian natives, water plants, conifers, small and large shrubs, and trees.

During early winter, while dormant, we receive shipments of new seasons roses, fruit trees and ornamental trees. See the "Catalogues" section to see what we have arriving this season.

A good range of seasonal items and plants are available throughout the year.

In addition to a great range of plants, we also have an extensive range of outdoor and indoor pots. Terracotta, glazed, fibreglass, and plastic pots are all stocked.

The shop front of the nursery is adjoined to the old cottage (circa 1860) that has been there prior to establishment of the nursery. Today, the cottage forms the giftshop of the nursery. The giftshop is filled with unique items, great for gifts or for the home and garden.
